  • You can do basic blast design in Paradigm using our hole creation tools, although the principal focus is more around importing blast designs from other design programs.
  • You can create complex charge designs or import existing charge data. Create custom rules to apply to holes based on variable length, or target SDOB, pre-split. Add multiple primers each with independent timing.
  • Design initiation timing for both electronic and non-electric initiation. Use vector timing tools to create the most comprehensive timing options, and to meet difficult vibration compliance standards.

  • Import: Paradigm allows you to import hole data with custom formatting via .CSV, .xlsx, xlsxm. You can import from ShotPlus, QED+, BlastPlan, Wavefront OBJ files, XYZ, IREDES DRPlan files, and BlastX files. We may also be able to help if you have proprietary formats you need to import.
  • Export: Paradigm will export hole data (such as collar/toe positions, charging, timing and more) to a csv file. It can also export hole placement data to an IREDES drill plan XML file, and will also export what it shows in the viewport to a DXF file.
  • Hardware: Paradigm can export timing to Austin timing loggers and Davey Bickford loggers and we are open to integrating more hardware based on vendor cooperation.

Yes, Wavefront files in OBJ format support texture coordinates and terrain imagery. Paradigm will also import terrain data from Autocad DXF or DWG files, however these formats don't support texture coordinate data.
